We are seeking a reliable, energetic Dog Daycare Counselor to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, active role for someone who enjoys working directly with dogs and is interested in long-term growth and advancement within The Dog Club.
Position Overview
As a Dog Daycare Counselor, you will play an important role in the daily care and supervision of dogs in our daycare program. You will help maintain a calm, well-managed environment through structured play, enrichment activities, and consistent care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage structured group play and individual dog activities
- Monitor dog behavior and body language to support safe, positive interactions
- Facilitate enrichment activities throughout the daycare day
- Maintain cleanliness of play yards, kennels, and common areas
- Assist with daycare, boarding, and daily routines as needed
- Follow individual care instructions and behavior guidelines
- Communicate observations and updates with supervisors and team members
- Uphold The Dog Club’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and quality care
Qualifications
- Must be 16 years or older
- Previous experience working with dogs is a plus, but not required
- Interest in learning dog behavior, handling, and enrichment techniques
- Ability to remain active and engaged throughout the shift
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced daycare environment
