Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Water Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing water extraction, drying, and cleaning. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work in challenging environments, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and sanitization processes.
- Document work progress and complete accurate records for insurance claims.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment to ensure proper restoration.
- Work closely with team members, customers, and insurance adjusters.
- Follow safety guidelines and restoration industry standards (IICRC, OSHA).
- Maintain and clean equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in water damage restoration.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
- Must be physically fit to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
- Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required.
- Express or exchange ideas with others quickly, receive and act on detailed information given.
- For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face
