Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing stock, and ensuring products are properly stored and accessible. Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and move freight using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Stock shelves, bins, and storage areas with incoming products, ensuring items are correctly labeled and organized for easy retrieval.
- Conduct inventory control activities by performing regular stock counts and maintaining accurate records through inventory management systems.
- Assist with packaging products for shipment or storage, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and provide excellent customer service when interacting with retail store personnel or delivery drivers.
Skills
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock management.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective teamwork.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and packaging procedures is advantageous.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments with a focus on safety and accuracy.
