### Position Overview
A Level I Trauma Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. The RN will provide high-acuity care in a fast-paced emergency setting and must be comfortable handling trauma cases and critically ill patients.

### Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department
- Triage and assess patients presenting with a wide range of conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Respond to trauma and emergency situations efficiently
- Manage overflow inpatient holds in the ED on a rotating basis
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

### Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of recent ED RN experience required
- Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center required
- Experience in a 500+ bed hospital preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact license)

### Certifications Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

### Facility & Role Details
- High-acuity Level I Trauma Center environment
- May be required to take inpatient overflow assignments in the ED
- Scrub Color: Navy (including warm-up jacket)
