80% of the time, the Research Project Manager 1 must:
Lead research projects through project management phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
Develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules.
Manage and coordinate research teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project deliverables.
Provide institutional technical support, assistance, and maintenance for research project management systems and activities.
Develop and implement internal and external communication plans, including the creation of project marketing materials and program updates.
Coordinate and streamline project documentation and reporting processes for research teams.
Synthesize data to evaluate program effectiveness, explore alternatives, and guide program development.
20% of the time, the Research Project Manager 1 will:
Coordinate center events.
Coordinate center educational workshops.
Perform other duties as assigned.
