About the Role
DPC Technology is looking for a Project Specialist to join our Service & Support team. In this role, you'll lead the hands-on work of deploying new systems, hardware, and software for our clients, making sure every implementation is set up right, tested thoroughly, and delivered on time and on budget. You'll be the technical expert clients count on during transitions to new technology, keeping disruption low and adoption high.
This is a great fit for an experienced technician who enjoys project work, likes solving problems in the moment, and communicates well with clients and teammates alike.
What You'll Do
- Execute project tasks and plans accurately and on schedule
- Configure and set up new systems, software, and hardware according to project scope
- Test implemented systems thoroughly to confirm functionality, integration, and performance
- Maintain clear documentation, including ticket notes, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide immediate support to resolve them
- Keep clients and stakeholders informed on progress, delays, or scope changes
- Provide technical guidance to teammates and other departments on deployment details
- Identify and implement process improvements during projects
- Help coordinate project delivery to meet quality assurance standards
- Identify, communicate, and help mitigate project risks through to completion
- Track time, expenses, and work activities in ConnectWise; complete ConnectWise University training
What We're Looking For
- At least two IT certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, MCITP, CCNA, MCP, Apple, or similar)
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on technician experience
- 2-year degree required; 4-year degree preferred
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with support and ticketing tools
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through
Growth Opportunities
Strong performers with strong client feedback may progress into a Project Manager role.
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Project client satisfaction score of 98% or higher
- 90% or more of projects delivered at or under budget
- A defect rate averaging no more than 1 per 10 projects
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
