Wilcore is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital products supporting Department of Veterans Affairs initiatives. The Product Manager serves as the bridge between government stakeholders, end users, and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure products align with mission objectives, user needs, and business priorities.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building intuitive digital experiences, thrives in Agile environments, and has experience managing product roadmaps, prioritizing work, and delivering solutions that create measurable value.
This position is contingent upon contract award supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Candidates may be considered for this opportunity as contract staffing needs are finalized.
What You'll Do

Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with government stakeholders and internal teams.

Manage and prioritize product backlogs based on customer needs, business value, technical considerations, and contractual priorities.

Collaborate with engineers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and program leadership throughout the product lifecycle.

Gather and translate user feedback and business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Coordinate product releases and support change management activities.

Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Balance competing priorities while ensuring delivery of high-quality, user-centered solutions.

Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and communicate product status, risks, and recommendations.

Support Agile and human-centered design practices to improve digital experiences for Veterans and VA employees.

Perform other duties as assigned in support of program objectives.

Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal civilian agencies.

Experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD) and user research methodologies.

Familiarity with digital transformation, healthcare technology, or enterprise modernization initiatives.

Experience working in cloud-based or DevSecOps software development environments.

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or similar Agile certification is preferred.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Human-Centered Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance as required by the contract.
