Nassau University Medical Center is part of NHCC, a public academic health system serving Long Island through a network that includes a 530-bed hospital, a 589-bed long-term care facility, and community health centers.
We are seeking a Residency Program Coordinator to support Graduate Medical Education and Academic Affairs within Nassau Health Care Corporation.
This position is responsible for coordinating residency and fellowship program operations, onboarding, scheduling, accreditation support, compliance tracking, committee coordination, and resident support activities.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate resident/fellow onboarding and orientation.
- Manage residency databases and New Innovations software.
- Support GME committees and residency program administration.
- Track compliance requirements including ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and ATLS.
- Maintain resident records, schedules, reimbursements, and calendars.
- Assist with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
We require:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- One year of experience in a physician residency program or administrative/office management role required
- Master’s degree may substitute for required experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills required
