We are currently seeking two live-in caregivers for female clients in Oyster Bay, NY and Bay Shore, NY.
The ideal candidates will be patient, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include following specific instructions and performing a variety of tasks to support the clients' needs.
The schedule for these positions is Wednesday to Wednesday, alternating weeks (one week on, one week off).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prompt/direct with ADLs
- Standby assistance while walking
- Assist client with personal care and hygiene as needed
- Plan and prepare meals
- Transportation to appointments, errands or shopping
- Perform light housekeeping duties that client can’t complete on their own
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents and changes in client's condition
Job Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience (personal or professional)
- Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia clients
- Car & driver's license
- Valid US work authorization
- Be 21+ years of age
Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
