Position: Receptionist / Sales Associate
Location: 158 N University Dr, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
Hours: 40 hours per week
Compensation
- Hourly pay during the first month (including paid training).
- Starting from the second month: hourly pay plus performance-based sales commission.

Sales & Customer Service Requirements
- Fluent English is required (Spanish is a plus).
- Previous experience in premium retail sales, pet stores, or customer service is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs, answer questions, and confidently guide customers toward the right decision.
- Results-oriented with a strong motivation to earn commission.
- Responsible, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Animal Experience
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic, cattery, pet store, animal shelter, or another animal-related field is a strong advantage.
- A genuine love for animals and a willingness to learn about different cat breeds, kitten care, nutrition, and health.
- Attentive, compassionate, and committed to the well-being of kittens.
Primary ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service
- Welcome customers and provide an exceptional in-store experience.
- Help families find the kitten that best fits their lifestyle.
- Educate customers about breeds, kitten care, pricing, health guarantees, financing options, and the adoption process.
- Guide customers through every step of the purchasing process.
- Follow up with prospective customers and maintain a high sales conversion rate.
- Meet individual and team sales goals.
Administrative Duties
- Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries.
- Schedule customer appointments.
- Maintain customer records and communicate effectively with team members.
Kitten Care Support
- Assist with feeding and monitoring the daily well-being of kittens.
- Observe kittens for any changes in health or behavior and report concerns to management.
- Help ensure a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for the kittens.
Content Creation & Store Presentation
- Take photos and short videos of kittens for social media and marketing.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming customer area.
