Job Summary
This position is responsible for efficiently packaging bottled product while being in accordance to Dutch Gold Honey quality standards.
- Actively promote Quality, Sanitation, GMP and HACCP and SOP standards to achieve a finished product within quality control specifications.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for the quality and food safety of our products
- Work with the line supervisors to ensure that all production lines stay in operation
- Keep production area free of all extra supplies that are not needed at that time
- Basic knowledge of how the production machinery operates
- Assist with setting up equipment during changeover
- Keep production line running efficiently
- Know where all supplies are stored
- Continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements of Position
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Able to work as a team player
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to problem solve at own work station
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Able to perform basic Math skills (add, subtract, etc)
- Able to adhere to established company productivity, GMP and quality standards
- Must utilize all proper PPE for the job as described in the attached JSA
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed to meet the needs of the business
- Must be able to pass the pre-employment physical, background check and drug and alcohol testing
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
