FREEDOM RESOURCE GROUP and our partner healthcare systems in the United States have developed a unique and lucrative program to help Puerto Rican social workers acquire a valuable stateside license (LICSW), so he/she can practice in beautiful Massachusetts and earn more money! Not only does our Apprenticeship allow you to make a good paycheck, but we also help prepare you to pass the Massachusetts board exam and acquire your LICSW certification.
Most notably, once you have acquired your LICSW in Massachusetts, you will have the opportunity to practice remotely – including the option of working from Puerto Rico – while making a U.S. based income! This process takes approximately 2 years to complete, which is a short term relocation to gain a lifetime of increased income.
Our LICSW Apprenticeship Program is available to both new graduates and experienced social workers from Puerto Rico who hold a master’s degree in an accepted field.
This unique program offers:
- FREE Flight to Massachusetts
- $500 housing allowance for the first 4 months
- $1,500 vehicle allowance
- $2,500 relocation stipend
- Board exam prep & study groups included
- Support with student-loan forgiveness programs
- After passing your Massachusetts licensing exam and acquiring your LICSW, you will have the opportunity to practice remotely from home in Puerto Rico, if desired
Who We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or a closely related mental-health field
- New graduates (good GPA) or experienced social workers (Puerto Rico license not required)
- Puerto Rico residency required
- Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Ability to pass a drug test and federal background check
- Willingness to commit to 2 years in Massachusetts
Pay & Benefits
