The role of the Chiropractic Assistant (CA) is to actively support the doctors and team members in order to provide an exceptional door to door experience for every patient.
We are looking for a high energy, versatile, and physically active person that will assist hands on with patients, demonstrate rehab exercises, and administer physiotherapy modalities to patients. You must be comfortable on your feet and walking for at least half the day and getting on the floor on a yoga mat to demonstrate and teach core exercises. This position will also handle front desk duties such as phone scheduling, billing, and insurance for our chiropractic office. This includes patient registration, insurance verification, claim submission, and collections.
This position is not solely limited to front desk duties. You will be cross-trained to help assist the doctors with treatments, to demonstrate exercises to patients, and other hands-on procedures.
Our team members rotate roles between front office and back office duties. This means that for part of the day you will be at the front desk and for part of the day you will be on your feet actively assisting with patients.
This is a full time position that requires you to be on-site M-F. The hours are listed below:
M/T/W/F: 8AM - 5PM
Thursday: 1:15pm - 6pm
Document/Exam Tech Responsibilities:
- Escorting patients to treatment rooms & placing them on tables.
- Demonstrating rehab exercises to patients.
- Administering physiotherapy modalities on patients
- Recording patients notes in their charts.
- Assisting the doctors with treatment procedures (hands-on).
- Helping patients in pain and with disabilities.
- Sanitizing treatment tables and tidying up treatment rooms.
- Stocking supplies (never more than 20-30lbs.).
Front Desk Tech Responsibilities:
- Office opening & closing procedures.
- Answering the phones.
- Calling patients to reschedule missed/canceled appointments.
- Collecting payment from every patient at time of service.
- Managing the schedule.
- Filling out and typing reports.
- Managing office supply orders.
Billing Tech Responsibilities:
- Patient registration and insurance verification.
- Claim submission and follow-up.
- Collections.
- Maintaining billing records and databases.
- Answering patient billing inquiries.
- Maintaining and updating billing policies and procedures.
