We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess/Cashier to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a positive attitude, providing excellent customer service and ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable
- Manage guest seating arrangements, waitlists, and reservations with efficiency and professionalism
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS or OpenTable to process transactions accurately and swiftly
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods with attention to detail and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a tidy environment at all times
- Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about menus, reservations, or wait times
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Support restaurant operations by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to optimize guest flow
Experience
- Prior host/hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment is preferred
- Experience working with POS systems such as Toast POS or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, serving, and hospitality standards
- Experience in hotel or guest relations roles is a plus but not required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and guest interaction best practices
