Job Overview St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, NH is seeking a full-time Chemistry/Physics Teacher for grades 9-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will include sections of Chemistry, Physics, and/or Physical Science. The ideal candidate will: Possess a strong subject background, teaching experience, and a solid understanding of high school curriculum in Chemistry and Physics.Share a vision for integrating STEM education and fostering scientific inquiry in the classroom.Bring enthusiasm, energy, and passion to the classroom setting through a variety of teaching and learning practices, including laboratory-based instruction.Connect positively with both students and families.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Explore collaborative and interdisciplinary teaching relationships with colleagues.
Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Physical Science, or a related field is required, with a masters degree preferred.High school teaching experience is preferred.Possession of New Hampshire state certification in the appropriate subject area(s) and/or the ability to work toward state certification.
