Whether you're hauling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized equipment like dump trucks and roll-off trucks, your expertise will keep our supply chain running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized trucks such as dump trucks and roll-off trucks.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Drive route schedules with precision, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and route adjustments.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the truck types operated (manual transmission experience preferred).
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using manual methods or forklifts when needed.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and clients.
