Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. As a vital part of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for transporting our equipment and material in a safe and efficient manner to our job sites.
Responsibilities
-Drive a tractor w/ flatbed trailer/lowboy trailer over local distances, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.
- Must be able to drive manual shift truck.
- Transport cranes and other heavy equipment so OVERSIZED Load experience is a must.
- Operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flat-deck trailers, private passenger vehicles.
- Plan and execute routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any issues or damage.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, delivery, and pick-up information.
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed and that all equipment is properly secured.
Skills
- Experience driving a tractor-trailer and handling heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of route driving and the ability to navigate
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Experience with delivery driving and freight logistics
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
