Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide exceptional in-home care to clients across diverse settings. As an HHA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, medical needs, and emotional support. Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patient health status, including vital signs and overall well-being
- Support medication management and administration following prescribed guidelines
- Document patient care activities accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide specialized care such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory care, hospice, and end-of-life support
- Use proper patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts to ensure safety during mobility assistance
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment for clients
Requirements
- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, geriatrics, or in assisted living/nursing home settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology, catheter care, and basic life support (BLS) including CPR and first aid certification
- Familiarity with home healthcare regulations, medication administration protocols, and documentation standards
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with clients and healthcare teams
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with patient transfers using appropriate techniques or equipment such as Hoyer lifts
- Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation
- Compassionate attitude towards patients requiring memory care or hospice services
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent; prior experience in home health agency environments is preferred

Pay: $19.64 - $23.00 per hour
