Hillcrest Christian School, located in Thousand Oaks, is ACSI & WASC accredited. We are currently looking for experienced substitute teachers who are committed to achieving excellence throughout our school. Ideal candidates should have a passion for working with children and be dedicated to providing the best education and care to students.
To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess the following:
- Personal relationship with Christ
- Commitment to Hillcrest Christian Schools’ mission, values, goals
- College Degree and/or Teaching Credential
- Demonstrated rapport with students
- 3 years or more experience of teaching in person, for any of the age groups listed below
- Possess a positive attitude; be patient, enthusiastic, motivated, self-directed, creative, adaptable, and focused
- Availability on an “on-call” basis. Elementary: Kindergarten-6th grade MS/HS: Grades 7 & 8 High School: Grades 9-12
