Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a genuine interest and aptitude in plastic surgery. This is a part-time / PRN / per diem role built around our surgical schedule, averaging about 30 hours per week (including case setup, scrub, and cleanup), with the opportunity for additional hours for the right, cross-functional professional.
This is more than a scrub role. We are looking for a skilled, motivated professional who wants to grow with us and contribute across the practice, not simply collect a paycheck. In addition to leading the operating room, you will participate in patient follow-up and wound care, the consultation and preoperative process, and administrative responsibilities within our highly technical, technology-driven office.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary surgical technologist for aesthetic and plastic surgical cases: sterile setup, scrubbing, instrument handling, and case cleanup.
- Own instrument sterilization, sterile processing, surgical instrument sets, and OR readiness and turnover.
- Manage surgical supply inventory and coordinate case flow with the front office.
- Participate in patient follow-up, wound care, and the consultation and preoperative process.
- Support administrative and clinical operations within a highly technical, technology-driven practice.
- Maintain strict sterile technique and full compliance with OSHA, infection-control, and HIPAA standards.
- Help set the standard of professionalism and patient care our reputation is built on.
- Help advance and support the practice's pursuit of surgical facility accreditation, and uphold the standards and certifications required for your areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Operating-room scrub experience; plastic, cosmetic, or aesthetic surgery experience strongly preferred.
- Comfort working with medical technology and administrative/practice-management systems.
- A professional, discreet, patient-first approach and a true interest in aesthetics.
What We Offer
- Competitive starting pay based on your experience and the value you bring, with performance-based rewards and advancement over time.
- Continuous education and genuine opportunities for advancement.
- The chance to work with state-of-the-art technology in a premier practice.
- Employee perks on aesthetic treatments and services.
- Flexible scheduling and the opportunity for additional hours.
- A growing, respected practice where your skills are valued and your career can flourish.
If you take pride in excellence and want to build a career with the region's leading aesthetic practice, we would love to hear from you.
