Team Honda of Acadiana is looking for motivated, dependable individuals who want to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career in the automotive industry.
If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, or have always wanted to become an Automotive Technician, this is your opportunity. No previous dealership or professional automotive experience is required—we’ll provide the training, mentorship, and support you need to succeed.
You’ll work alongside experienced Honda technicians, receive hands-on training, and learn the skills needed to become a professional Automotive Service Technician. As your knowledge and certifications grow, so will your earning potential.
- Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)

- Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Rotating Saturdays
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections
- Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance needs
- Use professional tools and diagnostic equipment
- Learn Honda repair procedures and manufacturer standards
- Assist experienced technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Build the knowledge and skills necessary to become a certified Automotive Technician
- No previous automotive experience required
- Interest in learning a skilled trade and building a long-term career
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work well on a team
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus, but not required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
