We are a leader in precision cutting tools for the machining industry with locations in Switzerland and Colorado. We have opened a new facility in the ELk Grove Village area to serve our domestic customers and plan on expansive growth in the next few years.
We are seeking a highly skilled Tool Application Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor, supporting the deployment, configuration, and optimization of machining cutting tools and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand customer needs in regards to machining application, machine limitations, and materials.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and sales team on new products and technical breakthroughs.
- Visit to customer sites to help with tool testing and presenting tooling solutions.
- Provide technical assistance and advice to customers and distributors.
- Support quotation process for all locations.
This is a unique position with a fast growing division. The right candidate will have a deep knowledge of machining, cutting tools, and ideally undersdtand the customers needs depending on their application. This is a direct hire position with JR candidates Salary in the $65-75k range but going up to $105k/yr for the most senior candidates.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
