Automotive Mechanic
Job Description:

Frisco Hill Auto is a classic car restoration and customization shop (ZERO COLLISION REPAIR) located just 15 minutes south of downtown St. Louis, MO. We are currently looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic who has a background in classic and high-end cars. Experience with 60’s through 80’s cars and trucks are preferred.
Compensation is based off previous work experience and skill set. Any secondary skill set in metal fabrication would be excellent but not required.
Job Tasks:
-Receive & carry out repair orders
-Perform quality & efficient repair services for various automotive systems that might include: engine, steering, suspension, brakes, AC, carburetor, fuel injection systems, & more
-Complete all required paperwork & documentation for repairs
-Effectively communicate with advisors
-Drive vehicles around the parking lot
We are looking for someone who:
-Has a comprehensive tool set based on the job position
-Has a complete knowledge of the workings of a vehicle
-Can diagnose & repair drivability issues
-Understands carburetors/distributors & can properly tune an engine
-Can drive a manual & automatic transmission
-Can follow SOP guidelines & maintain a clean work environment
-Has a positive attitude
-Has an ethical approach to all situations
-Is dedicated to their role within our company
-Has a Driver’s License & reliable transportation
-Is willing to pass a drug & criminal background check
-Follows company policy
