Description

Process position transactions and position conversion(s) for departments District-wide according to established procedures.

Update position tables and work structure definitions in Oracle.

Create and maintain district organizational reports and org charts.

Assist with the creation of job codes by communicating with other departments to ensure accurate placement of positions.

Assist and support division staff with position and staff related issues.
-
Analyze position data for the annual financial planning process.
-
Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to position control function.

Assist in the development of procedures manuals to facilitate the attainment of assigned targets.

Conduct regular audits of positions to ensure accuracy of positions, to monitor overfills and address any other issues related to positions.

Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. Equivalency).

Preferred 2+ direct years of experience in administrative support.

Ability to successfully complete assignments with general supervision.

Ability to use computer software for ad hoc reporting (Oracle Report Portal, Microsoft Power BI and Visio preferred), Microsoft Office, ORG Plus, Public Sector Budgeting (PSB) and experience with Oracle E-Business is a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral format.

Organization, prioritization, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position.

Knowledge of district organization, operations, and administrative policies preferred.
