Summary:
The Steel Roller will roll out fiberglass laminate ensuring that no air pockets remain. Apply core mat, balsa, plywood, and putty to glassed parts. Prep-cured laminates. Ensure that quality standards are always met.
Main Responsibilities:
This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all the “essential

· Follows the proper PPE requirements when performing job duties
· Become proficient in operating all hand tools, power tools, and air tools, necessary for work
· Read over the supply list and gather supplies, and check off items as they are completed
· Rolling out fiberglass to remove air
· Prep cured laminates (i.e. grinding/sanding etc.)
· Cut and apply various materials to fiberglass including core mat/balsa/plywood/putty
· Able to use hand, air, and power tools needed for the job
· Tie on roving
· Fill a gun with a catalyst
· Cut and measure materials to fit
· Move parts in and out of the area
· Work within safety standards and follow the assigned production schedule
· Material handling
· Follow standard operating procedures
· All other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Understands and maintains Cruiser's safety and housekeeping standards
· Understands and maintains Cruiser's quality standards and applies proper procedures
· Ability to read blueprints and tape measures
· Must be able to work at various plants based on need and ability to travel if necessary
· Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Education and Experience:
· Must be able to pass pre-employment qualifications
· Must be able to read at an 8th-grade level
· On-the-job training
Physical Requirements:
(May be repetitive in nature)
· Must be able to lift 60 pounds at times, and have the physical ability to meet strength and movement requirements for the position
· Wear required PPE and work in a dusty environment
· Must be able to sit or stand for long periods, crawl, walk, carry, squat, kneel, bend or stoop, walk on uneven surfaces, climb, twist at the waist, and reach at or above or below the shoulders
· Lifting (up to 60lbs) and push or pull (up to 60lbs)
· Fine manipulation of one or both hands and be able to grasp with one or both hands
Working Conditions:
· Occasionally works in or around: outdoor weather conditions, mechanical moving parts, and chemical exposure
· Frequently works in or around: high places unprotected, vibration, fumes or gases, toxic chemicals, odors
· Continuously works in or around: dirt or dust
· Noise Level: Loud
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.05 - $18.00 per hour
