Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. This is a relationship-driven sales and account management role. You will take ownership of incoming leads, prepare accurate proposals, close contracts, and remain involved throughout project execution. We're looking for someone who can ensure every client receives quality work and a consistent point of contact.
This is a full time salary postiion (plus commision after 90 days)
Healthcare is available and two weeks paid vacation
Responsibilities
- Follow up promptly on new leads, contacting clients to gather project details and answer initial questions
- Schedule and conduct on-site visits to evaluate properties, take measurements, and prepare accurate takeoffs
- Build and present professional proposals and contracts based on client needs and site evaluations
- Be reliably available in the office (or by phone/email) to respond to client questions and proposal follow-ups
- Maintain ongoing relationships with key accounts, including large commercial clients, franchise locations, and residential developments
- Oversee the quality and progress of sold jobs once work begins, coordinating with crews to ensure work meets client expectations
- Communicate regularly with internal staff regarding scheduling and project status
- Other duties as needed to support the sales and account management function
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, ideally in a client-facing or account management capacity-
- Knowledge of landscaping and/or irrigation services
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to manage a high volume of client communication
- Comfortable working both in the field (site visits, measurements, managing teams) and in the office (calls, email, proposals)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel and Outlook
- Valid driver's license required
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
