Seeking Limited-Permit Mental Health Counselors for private practice. We are a BIPOC LGBTQ+ poly/kink allied and affirming practice. We specialize in trauma informed care and PTSD/cPTSD treatment. We provide multimodal psychotherapy to adolescents and adults suffering from a range of symptoms including depression, anxiety, grief, OCD, anger issues, attachment and relationship challenges, racial and immigration related trauma and more.
This is a flexible position. We are seeking providers that can offer between 15 and 30 sessions slots per week in whatever availability works best with your schedule. Rates will be negotiated based on experience and available hours.
Sessions will be primarily be provided through telehealth or in-person in a hybrid schedule and caseload will build slowly.

We are looking for a clinician who is hardworking, flexible, eager to grow professionally, and excited to work with a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns.
Qualifications
- Active New York State MHC-LP permit required
- Additional permits/licenses in other states are welcomed
- Interest in applying for New Jersey licensure/permit is preferred but not required
- Experience or training in multiple evidence-based modalities, including:
- CBT
- DBT
- ACT
- IFS
- EMDR trained preferred, or willingness to pursue EMDR training
- Experience working with PTSD and CTPSD, adjustment disorder and stress disorders (Trauma informed care)
- Bilingual clinicians are encouraged to apply (not required)
Ideal Candidate
- Open to building and maintaining a caseload of up to 20-25 clients per week
- Comfortable working with a variety of clinical presentations and populations
- Willingness to offer occasional evening and/or weekend availability based on client needs
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Team-oriented while also able to work independently
- Passionate about continued learning and clinical growth
- IFS Level 1
