Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our school health office team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive health services to students, staff, and visitors, ensuring a safe and healthy school environment. Your expertise will support student well-being through assessments, emergency response, and daily needs. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the school community while working 18-21 hours a week. School Nurse certification not required.
Duties
- Administer medications, and treatments following established protocols
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing first aid and critical care when necessary
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized health plans
- Manage chronic conditions such as asthma or allergies by coordinating care and medication administration
- Educate students on health topics including hygiene, nutrition, and injury prevention
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of New Jersey
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
