What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across the campus location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.

Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking lots, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.

Monitor access points and common areas, offer directions and assistance, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction.

Support campus operations during events, class hours, and after-hours periods by communicating with staff and/or first responders as needed and following post orders.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
