Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise cabinet installation.
- Measure, cut, and install custom cabinets using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
- Prepare the work area by ensuring proper handling of wood construction materials, including framing, siding, and trim carpentry components.
- Use power tool safety protocols to operate equipment such as table saws chopping saws and other power tools effectively.
- Install fixtures, doors, moldings, and hardware with attention to detail for a seamless finish.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper fitment, alignment, and adherence to blueprints and construction plans while maintaining safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cabinet installation within residential or commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including framing, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels; power tools for woodworking; and woodworking machines.
- Familiarity with construction processes and interpreting construction plans.
- Familiarity with various construction trades such as plumbing, electrical work.
- Knowledge of power tool safety practices and proper handling of woodworking materials.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Pay: $20.00 - $55.00 per hour
