American Towing is a small business that provides quality towing, roadside assistance, and accident cleanup throughout Prescott and the surrounding areas.
Pay
- Salary: $700 to $900 per week starting, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Operate a tow truck to safely and efficiently transport vehicles
- Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and lockout services
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using proper techniques and equipment
- Secure vehicles properly to ensure safe transportation
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Perform basic mechanical tasks, such as checking fluids and changing tires
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the tow truck
- Be on call 6 days a week for overnight emergency tows
Qualifications:
- While we prefer someone with experience, we will train the right person
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical principles
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Ability to work independently
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
