Magbee Contractors Supply is seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of doors and windows to various job sites, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) with benefits. Home every night and weekends off.
Pay: $20/hour
Box Truck Driver Job Function/Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver building materials to customer locations and job sites.
- Safely load and unload materials, ensuring proper securing.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, and report any mechanical issues.
- Accurately complete and maintain all necessary delivery logs, invoices, and paperwork.
- Assist in loading or preparing materials as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Box Truck Driver Qualifications
- Box truck driving experience
- Clean MVR
- Valid driver's license
- Verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple deliveries efficiently
- Knowledge of building material (preferred)
- Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
- Ability to lift in excess of 100 pounds occasionally, and in excess of 50 pounds frequently, and excess of 25 pounds constantly to move material and/or objects in range of 50 ft., occasionally 100ft. in ambient conditions (mud, ice, rain, wind, uphill, & downhill).
