Position Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for dependable Dock Workers to join their freight operations team. The ideal candidates will have experience in freight loading and unloading, general warehouse operations, and forklift use. Experience with sit-down propane or reach forklifts is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
· Load and unload freight trailers safely and efficiently
· Verify shipment counts and condition of freight
· Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other dock equipment (sit-down propane or reach preferred)
· Stack, stage, and organize freight according to destination
· Maintain a clean and safe dock area
· Follow company and OSHA safety guidelines at all times
Requirements
· 2 years of dock, or freight handling experience preferred
· Sit-down propane or reach forklift experience a plus
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment
· Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
· Must pass E-Verify and background screening
Shift & Pay
Shift: 2:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday
Compensation: 23.00
