For over 60 years, the Kumon Method has helped students around the world foster a love of learning, build confidence, and develop strong study habits while advancing beyond grade level. At Kumon of Marlton, our Center Assistants play a key role in bringing this mission to life.
What You’ll Do
As a Center Assistant, you will support students, parents, and our Instructor. Assistants typically specialize in one core area while assisting in others, with responsibilities including:
- Instructional Support: Grading and organizing student classwork and homework with accuracy and efficiency.
- Student Guidance: Guiding students to follow center procedures and individualizing strategies to support their growth in collaboration with the Instructor.
- Mentorship: Providing encouragement and support to help students stay motivated.
- Customer Service: Welcoming families, offering excellent customer service, and sharing feedback on student progress with the Instructor and parents.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong foundational skills in Math and/or Reading.
- A genuine love of learning and enthusiasm for working with children.
- Reliable availability to work evenings and/or weekends.
- Dependability, punctuality, and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with our team and build positive relationships with families.
- Bonus: Additional opportunities and hours may be available for candidates with social media content creation or sales/enrollment skills.
