Friends School of Portland seeks a patient, caring individual to serve in its AfterCare Program. This person must have ample experience working with young children and a love of the outdoors. Experience could include camp counseling, babysitting, coaching, volunteer work, etc. Majors in Education are preferred, but not required. The applicant should identify with the Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship, as these are the cornerstones of our school and the AfterCare Program.
This is a part-time position (6~15 hours/week): Monday-Thursday 3:30 to 5:30pm and Friday 1:30-5:30 pm.
