Maintenance Technician
Overview:
We are currently an individual with 5 or more years of practical experience in Maintenance with a concentration in Electrical Maintenance to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities through diligent maintenance and repair work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure their efficient operations
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics and logic controllers.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs.
- Conduct facility maintenance tasks to upkeep the overall condition of the premises.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with machinery and equipment, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including mechanical parts, electrical wiring, sensors, and actuators.
- Calibrate and adjust machinery settings to maintain efficiency and accuracy, following manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
- Install, assemble, and disassemble machinery and equipment as needed for maintenance or repair purposes.
Skills:
- Electrical experience is a major plus!
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
- Technical Training or Certified in Welding
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting machinery issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
