We are seeking an energetic and personable Valet Parking Attendant to provide exceptional guest services at The Vine. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming parking experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills while maintaining efficient parking operations. This role will also receive gratuity in addition to hourly pay.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with parking vehicles promptly and safely
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including manual transmission cars, within The Vine's parking areas
- Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing vehicles to minimize wait times and ensure smooth traffic movement
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering directions, and addressing guest needs with a positive attitude
- Handle cash transactions accurately for valet services, including cash handling and retail math calculations when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized parking area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to coordinate vehicle retrievals and address any concerns or issues
Skills
- Strong guest services and customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Previous experience in hospitality, dealership, retail, or delivery driver roles is highly desirable
- Valid driving skills with experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Knowledge of The Vine parking regulations and traffic flow management
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic retail math calculations
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse guest populations
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining focus on safety and service quality
Pay: From $8.00 per hour
