A-Team Solutions is seeking talented and mission-driven Scientists (Levels I-VIII) to support groundbreaking cancer research initiatives with a nationally recognized federal research organization in Bethesda, Maryland. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge translational cancer research, drug development, biomarker discovery, and innovative therapeutic approaches aimed at improving cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
The successful candidate will perform laboratory-based research, analyze biological data, collaborate with multidisciplinary scientific teams, and contribute to scientific publications, presentations, and research advancements.
Key Responsibilities
Scientific Research & Experimental Design
- Conduct laboratory-based translational research focused on cancer biology and therapeutic development.
- Design, develop, and execute scientific studies and experimental protocols.
- Investigate novel cancer treatments, diagnostics, biomarkers, and immunotherapies.
- Develop new laboratory assays and research methodologies to advance scientific objectives.
Laboratory Operations
- Perform sophisticated molecular, biological, genetic, and biochemical experiments.
- Work with human and animal cell lines and tissue samples.
- Conduct cell culture, DNA transfection, electrophoresis, immunoprecipitation, PCR, protein analysis, and related laboratory techniques.
- Perform and support in vivo and in vitro experimental studies.
Data Analysis & Scientific Interpretation
- Analyze and interpret complex research data and experimental results.
- Identify scientific trends, limitations, and opportunities for further investigation.
- Develop conclusions and recommendations to support research objectives.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, and scientific documentation.
Collaboration & Scientific Leadership
- Collaborate with scientists, statisticians, clinicians, and research teams.
- Support interdisciplinary research initiatives and scientific partnerships.
- Mentor junior researchers and laboratory personnel as appropriate.
- Participate in scientific meetings, working groups, and strategic research discussions.
Publications & Presentations
- Prepare data, charts, figures, and supporting materials for publication.
- Contribute to peer-reviewed manuscripts and scientific reports.
- Present research findings at scientific conferences, seminars, and professional meetings.
- Participate in scientific committees, panels, and collaborative research efforts.
Minimum QualificationsEducation
- Master's Degree in:
- Biology

- Related Scientific Field
Preferred Education
- Ph.D. in Biology, Life Sciences, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, or related scientific discipline.
Experience RequirementsScientist I-II
- 2+ years of laboratory research experience.
- Experience performing biological and molecular assays.
Scientist III-V
- 4-8+ years of progressively responsible research experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently design and execute research studies.
- Publication and presentation experience preferred.
Scientist VI-VIII
- 8+ years of advanced scientific research experience.
- Demonstrated scientific leadership and subject matter expertise.
- Strong publication history and track record of scientific contributions.
- Experience leading complex research projects and collaborations.
