Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware in desktop and laptop computers.
- Perform system upgrades and installation of new hardware, including RAM, hard drives, and peripheral devices.
- Install operating systems into used and refurbished machines
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, service requests, and inventory
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PC repair technician or similar role.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A+ certification or other relevant IT certifications is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail
Compensation:
Hourly pay will be commensurate with experience
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
