Job Overview
As a Class A Commercial Driver, you will safely transport non-hazardous waste between customer locations, Diamond facilities, and approved disposal sites throughout Southern California. This position requires excellent driving skills, professionalism, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT and company regulations.
- Pump and transport non-hazardous waste from customer job sites to approved discharge facilities.
- Complete assigned routes, manifests, logs, and required paperwork accurately.
- Perform services at customer locations while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing Diamond Environmental Services.
- Work closely with Dispatch and Operations to complete daily assignments.
- Meet Diamond’s Core Values: Service, Trust, Accountability, Respect, and Safety (STARS).
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Tank Endorsement (Required)
- Air Brake Endorsement
- Current DOT Medical Certificate
- Acceptable H6 Driving Record (within 30 days of hire)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as business needs require.
