Overview
This is a small residential assisted living community with a maximum of 16 residents. It's a warm, home like environment and requires someone with empathy and compassion.
Great opportunity for someone who was previously a lead RCC and wanting a manager role, or someone who previously managed a larger building and looking for a slower pace.
As an Assisted Living Manager, you will lead the daily operations of our senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and support. In this vital role, you will oversee resident well-being, staff supervision, and operational excellence, ensuring a warm, safe, and engaging environment for our residents. Your leadership will foster a compassionate atmosphere that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life for all residents.
Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the assisted living community, including staffing, resident care, and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Supervise and support caregiving staff, ensuring high standards of assisted living and memory care services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents’ needs, including those with forms of dementia
- Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices
- Coordinate resident activities and social programs to promote engagement and community involvement
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident health records, incident reports, and care plans
- Manage budgets, oversee billing processes, and ensure efficient resource allocation to support long-term care operations
- Hire and train resident care staff - Must be willing to cover shifts as needed to ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet resident care needs
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with a strong understanding of senior care principles
- Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia care, or memory care environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervisory experience in group homes or retirement communities
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to long-term care facilities and home & community care standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage operations efficiently while maintaining a compassionate approach
- Competence in budgeting, financial acumen, and resource management within a healthcare setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff members, and healthcare providers
- This is an on call 24-7 position

Pay: $40,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
