TOSTIMO'S is growing! We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef / Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee food production operations. The work location will be in our new storefront in Portsmouth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling, menu planning, and team management within the hospitality industry. As a Sous Chef / Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality food service and catering experiences while fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
- Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to promote teamwork and professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate catering events and special functions.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards of culinary excellence.
- Address any customer feedback or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
