Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on golf carts, utility vehicles, and all-terrain vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and engine tune-ups to keep vehicles in peak condition.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and electrical components with precision and efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly tools to repair or replace faulty parts.
- Complete vehicle inspections to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs or part replacements to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain detailed service records and logs of repairs performed for each vehicle.
- Assist customers with basic troubleshooting questions and provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dealership service departments or as a service technician with a strong background in automotive or powersports engine systems repair.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, electrical diagnostics, and the use of diagnostic tools.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including brake repair, suspension work, engine troubleshooting, and assembly.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and the safe operation of motorcycle or all-terrain vehicle operation.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Experience with welding, soldering, and mechanical systems repair is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
