We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welding Supervisor to lead daily welding operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing weld quality, production schedules, safety, and team performance while supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
- Supervise MIG and TIG welders during daily production operations
- Ensure welds meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Train and support welders on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor productivity, workflow, and material usage
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet deadlines
- Inspect completed work and assist with troubleshooting welding issues
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising welders in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Strong knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Familiarity with fabrication tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment
- Understanding of welding safety standards and procedures
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- CWI Certification
Preferred
- AWS certification preferred
- Experience with stainless steel, carbon steel, or aluminum fabrication
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
