Graff Lab is looking for an energetic, responsible, and hands-on Assistant Studio Manager to help lead our studio and deliver an unforgettable graffiti experience to every guest who walks through our doors.
Graff Lab isn’t your typical party venue or art studio. We’re an interactive, graffiti-inspired experience where kids, teens, adults, families, and groups can get creative and experience graffiti in a fun, high-energy environment.
As an Assistant Studio Manager, you’ll work closely with studio management to keep the entire operation running smoothly—from leading the team and managing parties to helping guests, handling sales, and making sure the studio always looks and feels like Graff Lab.
What You’ll Do
- Help oversee day-to-day studio operations
- Lead and support Party Staff and other team members during shifts
- Open and/or close the studio and complete shift responsibilities
- Make sure parties and graffiti experiences start on time and run smoothly
- Welcome guests and deliver an excellent customer experience
- Help manage busy weekends with multiple parties, groups, and walk-in guests
- Assign responsibilities and keep staff organized throughout the shift
- Assist with training and coaching new team members
- Handle guest questions, concerns, and special requests professionally
- Assist with bookings, check-ins, payments, merchandise, and studio sales
- Make sure graffiti supplies, party materials, and studio areas are stocked and ready
- Maintain Graff Lab’s standards for cleanliness, organization, safety, and presentation
- Help reset graffiti and party spaces between groups
- Troubleshoot problems and make smart decisions when things don’t go according to plan
- Support management with inventory, scheduling, events, and other studio needs
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who can lead while still being willing to jump in and do the work.
You should be:
- Responsible, dependable, and punctual
- Confident leading a team and giving direction
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with guests
- Organized and able to manage several things happening at once
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Able to stay calm and make decisions when the studio gets busy
- Great with kids, teens, adults, and families
- Comfortable handling customer service situations professionally
- Motivated to help the studio grow and succeed
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and other peak event times
Previous experience in management, hospitality, entertainment, events, retail, customer service, parties, or recreation is strongly preferred.
An interest in graffiti, street art, creativity, or entertainment is a big plus, but you do not need to be a graffiti artist. We’ll teach you the Graff Lab experience.
This Role Is More Than Managing Parties
We want someone who takes ownership of their shift.
That means noticing what needs to be done before being asked, keeping the team motivated, making sure guests are having an incredible time, solving problems quickly, and helping maintain the energy and standards that make Graff Lab different.
One minute you might be checking in a birthday party, the next you’re helping the crew reset a graffiti space, answering a customer question, ringing up a sale, or making sure the next event is ready to go.
You won’t be sitting in an office—you’ll be in the middle of the action.
Why Join Graff Lab?
- Work in a unique, creative graffiti environment
- Take on a real leadership role
- Build management and operations experience
- Be part of parties, private events, and graffiti experiences
- Work with a fun, energetic team
- Opportunities to grow as Graff Lab grows
Ready to Help Run the Lab?
If you’re a natural leader who loves people, can handle a busy environment, and wants something more exciting than a typical management job, we’d love to meet you.
