Duties
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach.
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or specialized tools while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, dispatchers, and emergency responders during roadside assistance calls.
- Manage conflict situations professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and basic automotive repairs or adjustments as needed to prepare vehicles for transport.
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and incident reports for record-keeping purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, or mechanic work is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, manual transmissions, and automotive components.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience operating tow trucks and flatbeds preferred.
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other lifting devices.
- Prior experience in conflict management or handling difficult customer interactions professionally.
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards and regulatory compliance related to towing operations.

Pay: $25.27 - $30.43 per hour
