We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to lead the Parts Department of a successful import dealership.
This is an opportunity for a proven dealership parts professional who understands that a great Parts Department is more than inventory management. We are looking for a leader who can develop a team, support Service and Sales, improve processes, control expenses, and drive profitability.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop parts team members
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and improve inventory turn
- Monitor aging, obsolete, and non-moving inventory
- Manage manufacturer returns and parts programs
- Maintain strong inventory accuracy and controls
- Improve fill rate and technician parts availability
- Work closely with Service leadership to improve technician productivity and shop flow
- Manage wholesale and retail parts opportunities
- Monitor departmental gross profit, expenses, and overall profitability
- Establish and maintain processes for special-order parts
- Ensure proper parts pricing and matrix strategies
- Maintain manufacturer standards and compliance
- Build a culture of accountability, urgency, teamwork, and great internal customer service
What We're Looking For
- Previous dealership Parts Manager experience strongly preferred
- Import dealership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of dealership parts operations and inventory management
- Experience managing aging and obsolete inventory
- Strong leadership and employee-development skills
- Ability to understand and manage departmental financial statements and KPIs
- Comfortable working closely with Service, Sales, Accounting, and dealership leadership
- DMS experience required
- Organized, process-driven, and accountable
- A leader who is willing to be involved in the operation—not manage from behind a desk

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
