Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently after guests leave, ensuring a smooth flow for incoming diners.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
- Support servers by bussing dishes, refilling water glasses, and delivering utensils or condiments as needed.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of chairs or trays while practicing safe lifting techniques.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols throughout all duties.
- Help with light food service tasks when required, supporting the overall guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist guests politely.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of tables or supplies.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations within the restaurant industry.
- Experience with table setting or catering is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
- A customer-focused mindset with excellent teamwork skills to contribute positively to a busy restaurant environment.
