Position Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and highly organized Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our clients. This role requires individuals who can stay calm and composed under pressure, follow scripts and direction with precision, and maintain a high level of professionalism when engaging with customers—especially in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be on the front lines of client communication, helping to ensure a smooth and reassuring experience throughout their tax relief journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain composure and professionalism when working with clients who may be experiencing stress or financial hardship.
- Follow established scripts and communication guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across all client interactions.
- Assist clients in understanding the services offered by Ovation Tax Group and guide them through the next steps.
- Resolve customer concerns effectively, escalating more complex issues to the appropriate department when needed.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, and serve as a liaison between clients and tax professionals.
- Accurately document client interactions, ensuring thorough records for future reference.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless and effective service delivery.
- Support other administrative tasks and team initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a professional, financial, or high-volume environment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, scripts, and procedures consistently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Calm, empathetic demeanor with the ability to de-escalate and manage challenging conversations effectively.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer navigation; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Interest or background in tax services or financial industries is beneficial but not required.
