Delbert Adams Construction Group is looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager to join our construction team!
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will assist in the development and administration of remarkable spaces/homes/buildings, while fostering enduring relationships with our team, trade partners, and clients. We offer the highest level of client service, construction knowledge and expertise in the industry.
The Assistant Project Manager will be required to provide support to the Project Manager, and field team. He/she will work in collaboration with the field team to create and maintain an environment of open communication to ensure team success. He/she will advise the Project Manager and team of potential problems and conflicts and assist in resolving the issues. He/she will proactively create, manage, and facilitate the RFI process, review and process all submittals and change orders, prepare and manage subcontracts, assist with coding and billing, and manage project photography, meeting minutes, and owner correspondence, in a professional and timely manner. The APM is an entry-level position to a career in Project Management, Site Supervision, or Design and creative opportunities at the company
- Minimum of 4 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
- An engineering degree or technical diploma in Construction, Building, Civil or Architecture
- Understanding of contract terms and financials related to a construction project
- Experience with BuilderTrend Microsoft Excel & Project is an asset
